Upperschool (4th-7th)

In Upper School, students transition from learning foundational skills to applying them with depth and purpose. Reading and writing grow more analytical, with an emphasis on comprehension, composition, grammar, and vocabulary development. Students begin outlining, summarizing, and writing structured paragraphs and essays. Latin is introduced to strengthen grammar, logic, and language understanding.
Mathematics expands into multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and introductory abstract thinking. History and geography become more chronological and global, helping students understand civilizations, cultures, and God’s providence through time. Science emphasizes observation, classification, and understanding God’s created order. Fine arts and poetry continue to enrich students’ appreciation for truth, goodness, and beauty, while Christian studies deepen biblical knowledge and moral formation.
